Ladies, I present you cake of the week!

This week's cake order was totally on my liking. I had to make a pink floral cake for a 17 years old Birthday party. 
The birthday girl was very happy with the result and she said my cake left her speechless :D Can I wish for more???

Cake Decorating Ideas

Here are two cute ideas of decorating a naked cake. 
I choose a carrot cake with a mascarpone - lemon frosting.
First version is a simple, but a cute idea and it can be made using the back of a spoon to create the ''spikes'' on the frosting. 

And this is the second version using fresh flowers. I love this look more, as it's romantic and full of color. You can use your favorite flowers in your favorite color ;)

Chocolate Cupcakes

Celebrating Chocolate Day with some double chocolate cupcakes.
I wanted to share with you the most simple and delicious chocolate butter-cream frosting I have ever tried.

My naked chocolate cupcakes 

Chocolate Butter-cream Frosting

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 cups (400 g) butter
• 2 cups (400 g)  chocolate chips or chopped chocolate 

Melt together in double broiler or in microwave with power turned down a little.

Whisk together until combined.

Put it in the freezer until it's pretty firm. 

Beat for at least 5 minutes until fluffy. 

Frost cooled cupcakes immediately and then chill.  Serve them cold.

Cake Pops -Flowerpot Presentation

Lately everybody felt in love with the cake pops. Easy to make,but time consuming, these beauties just melt in your mouth. 

This time I made a chocolate cake with my favorite mascarpone frosting and the result is beyond delicious. Believe me! ;)

I always loved this presentation for cake pops and cupcakes, involving a  chic flowerpot. This would be perfect for a baby shower or a birthday celebration.
This is how my cake pops ended up looking :)
