Baby Shower - Cake & Cupcakes

Two weeks ago I have been part of one of my best friend's surprise Baby Shower, who's due date is in  the middle of November. She is such a sweet girl and everybody got together from friends, relatives to work colleagues to make sure she has a Baby Shower party to remember.

As usual, I had to make sure that the ''sweet part'' of the party  is special and unique, just for Andreea and baby Luca.  So, I made a cute white cake decorated with blue baby shoes and hand made writing with the baby's name. Also I added theme inspired tiny decorations such as sleeping baby, stroller, feeding bottle, pacifier and many others.

Besides the cake, cookie pops, white chocolate cookies and vanilla cupcakes decorated with light blue butter-cream frosting and fondant flowers, feeding bottles and strollers.

 I also made a nice bouquet for Andreea that looked so good with the sweets.

Sea inspired cake - waves and boat

Guess who's back?

My holiday is officially over and I feel so happy to be back and ready for business. This month is full of events and orders for me and I could not be any happier. Just wait and see!

And to start my busy season, here is one of the cakes I made for my beloved son for his second  anniversary. (I say ''one of the cakes'' cause we had two parties this year, one in Romania with our big family  and one here in Zurich with all our close friends and Thomas's close friends)

What inspired me for this cake is his infinite love for water. He could literally stay in water for hours without having any problems. Well, he is not that happy when the skin on his little hands gets all wrinkled and he tries to pull it off :)) He tries so hard and he comes even to me to help him :| I wish I could...
